It was a perfect evening with a quiet, warm ambiance that comes with those balmy spring evenings. A rarity so far this year. In celebration for Ben’s 30th Birthday, in a quiet country lane in South Norfolk, we all gathered to catch the no.18 bus. A gathering with a bygone twist.
Everyone looked amazing and a fantastic start to what I hope turned out to be a fun and memorable night. Happy Birthday Ben! And Wendy, you looked simply stunning!

It was an afternoon of quiet romance and discovery as we stumbled across the hidden gardens in Norwich. We were even blessed with some sunshine. A relaxed hour spent with a truly lovely couple. Can’t wait to shoot the big day!

It was great to meet Gary and Louise again and we had all been praying for some sunshine amidst the April showers. Thankfully the rain held off and we were blessed with a break in the clouds. ( Only the British and photographers are so preoccupied with the weather!) A lovely few hours spent with plenty of giggles! Here’s a sneaky look at the engagement shoot images.

This is the first time the regional UK Barista Championships have been held in Norfolk and they were a resounding success, thanks to Richard of Mad About Coffee Ltd. Here’s a taster!
Come and say hello on my Facebook page. I look forward to speaking to you!

Handy link for you! @lizbishopphoto
A big thank you for the amazing hospitality of Jen & James in the heart of Rocamadour in the south of France. Jen & James own a beautiful Cambre d’hote in Rocamadour, surrounded my wild landscapes and stunning buildings, and then there’s Rocomadour itself – a world unto it’s own!
It was a great opportunity to be invited to photograph their boys – Louis and Valentino who were totally gorgeous! And naturals in front of the camera.I hope you love your photos as much as I do!

Oh, and not to forget their gorgeous dogs! x

There are so many more amazing pictures I may have to run a second gallery !!

It was an exciting opportunity to get involved with the Web Heroines’ 3 day conference that boasted some huge names in the web and technology industry – and of course, they were all women! Now I have to admit to being a bit of a techno-dunce when it comes to the real nitty-gritty of how things work yet it was a captivating evening of discussion and networking with some truly inspiring women.
Huge thanks to very talented and vivacious Keri Lambden, who was the mastermind behind the whole concept, network and event. To read more about the Web Heroines network see www.webheroines.com
I’m also very excited to hear that The British Library would like to use some of my images for their publicity and website, so keep an eye out for them!
I was commissioned to produce an image of the beautiful Diss Mere for the opening of the new Parson’s Estate Agents shop in Diss. It’s always fantastic to see the final image in place, depicting a picturesque aspect of Diss that passers-by may not get to glimpse. Thanks to Kevin for the final in-situ photo.
What a beautiful day for a fairytale wedding for Sue and Emlyn Budds. It was also very emotional for me as I’ve known the bride and groom for years and know we’ve all been waiting for this day for a while. I felt very privilaged to be such an intrinsic part of their special day and with my family, (including 2 very small children), in tow (!) I hope I managed to do the day justice. Many thanks also to second photographer Wendy for all her hard work.
The details were exquisit, the atmosphere relaxed and intimate and the bride simply stunning! They also managed to arrange a balmy late summer day with plenty of sunshine and a spot of rain just at the right time, which was just perfect. Wishing many, many years of wedded happiness to a fantastic couple.
Here’s just a few shots to get a glimpse of the day…

..from a totally biased mum of course! I have at last found the time to post one of little Florence, now 4 weeks old. Born in the early hours on cloudy, humid July day, she has been as temperate as the late summer this year and as sweet as the honeysuckle in our garden. I was rewarded with the flicker of a smile today which was just fantastic! xxxx

With the impending birth of my second child now imminent I’m preparing to try and let motherhood take priority for a while which fills me with mixed feelings. After all, this is my baby too! But I do know that with the added inspiration that my expanding family always creates this will be another life changing development and I’m excited to be part of it. Can’t wait to meet you little one after over 41weeks of nurturing! X
